    It is located 240 km north of Acapulco, in the Pacific Coast. The
    Zihuatanejo international airport is located 15 km. from the
    hotel.  There is a super highway from Morelia to Ixtapa and the
    trip takes 3 1/2 hours.  The hotel is 5 minutes walking distrance
    from  the Estrella Blanca and the Estrella de Oro  bus
    terminals.  

    Ixtapa has two professional golf courses, a wonderful marina
    and an 8-km bike track that crosses through the jungle by a
    bird sanctuary; it ends in Playa Linda by the crocodile reserve.  
    You can take a boat  and then cross to the Isla Ixtapa.  The
    streets are full of gardens with palm trees and multi-color
    tropical flowers.

    The shopping area, just across the hotel, has 4 banks
    (Banamex, Bancomer, HSBC and Santander) and a branch from
    Intercam, restaurants, discotheques, cinema, hospital,
    pharmacies, stores and boutiques.  We are located 2 blocks
    away from the residential area of Ixtapa where there is a  
    Catholic church (Santa Cruz).

    Zihuatanejo is located 7 km from the hotel.  You can find
    markets, grocery stores like Bodega and Comercial Mexicana,
    and the wonderful port with and its famous beaches like Las
    Gatas, La Ropa and La Madera.  The cost from Ixtapa to
    Zihuatanejo by public transport is $7 pesos per person and the
    taxi ride is from $50 pesos.
